Our statement on the use of Gen AI

Gen AI is not used in the production of our work

Using AI in our work would go against everything we stand for. That’s why it is not used in the production of any of our work. As a team, we have gen AI pushed on us in our 9 to 5s, and Imposter Squad is an escape from it—where we can take our time, be creative, not chase 100% efficiency or min-max output. Our work is created for the joy (or the pain) of it.

If a design takes us 10, 20, or 50 hours to create, then that’s simply how long it takes. If you’re reading this, we bet you’re the kind of person who appreciates the human hours, care, thought, and creativity put into each of our pieces.

While we’re still just a small internal team, our hope in the future is to create opportunities for other artists, and when that time comes, we will also require them to do their work without the use of Gen AI.

Imposter Squad is, and always will be, fiercely anti-generative AI.
